Located in Anse-a-Galet.  Must be willing to relocate and live fulltime.

The Site Manager will coordinate all aspects of scaling solar-powered desalination facility for clean water access in Anse-a-Galet, La Gonave, Haiti.

This role needs a trustworthy, organized, skilled manager to ensure that the operation is fully staffed with competent workers, the equipment is maintained, customers are identified, distribution channels are developed, and sales revenue is kept secure. DUTIES

  • Identify and hire local staff to operate, maintain, the facility
  • Hire and fire as required, according to local law to ensure that all positions are filled with qualified individuals
  • Keep the Solar Water Farm in Anse-a-Galet performing according to specifications
  • Train staff on Good Manufacturing Processes, job duties and setting clear responsibilities and expectations
  • Build a customer base and distribution network for the water produced by the Solar Water Farm
  • Suggest pricing arrangements to simultaneously ensure long term viability of the project and maximum distribution through various channels
  • Propose product changes, distribution and marketing strategies to help maximize water distribution
  • Keep accurate records for all transactions for water and noting any discrepancies
  • Ensure that the sales revenue is deposited into NGOs accounts
  • Keep daily records on the quantities of water sold through various channels
  • Report weekly sales figures to USA headquarters
