Transport and logistics company, that integrates maritime, port, and land service is looking for a full-time Import Customer Service Assistant. This individual will focus on after-sales customer support and assistance as well as invoicing, and coordination of pickup of port items.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and Communicating over the phone
- Creates and Sends Customer Invoices
- Communicates with customer arrival
- Custom Manifest creation and forwarding to customs
- Logistic coordination for pickup and dropoff of received items.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of customer service, logistics, import/export experience required
- Fluent in English and French
- Knowledge of Haitian market and USA-Caribbean Trade preferred
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Economics, Business Administration, Foreign Trade or other related to the maritime industry
- Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to quickly adjust in a rapidly changing sociopolitical environment
